Established in 1959 and with particular emphasis on hydraulic bending rolls since the early 1980’s, MG are world leading manufacturers of plate rolling and section rolling machines along with other more specialist machines such as plate levelling and screw helix machines.

With vast experience in the world of bending, MG can offer solutions for complex bending requirements, including bespoke machines and production lines.

BENDING ROLLS
MG produces plate bending rolls in sizes from 200mm to 8000mm bending length and from 1mm to 300mm thickness capacity. Machines are available with manual, NC or CNC controls and a range of productivity options are offered, such as loading and unloading devices and side and overhead supports. 

SECTION ROLLS
Their section rolls are available in both 3 and 4 roll models and with shaft sizes of up to a massive 540mm diameter; this model AR530 weighs in at an incredible 297 tonnes and has the capacity to roll beams of up to 1000mm! Models are available for rolling a wide variety of common sections and special profiles. 

OTHER MACHINERY
In addition to their most well known products, MG also produce machines for levelling profile cut parts as well as machines to create screw helixes. They are able to integrate their machines into production lines, for example adding a decoiling and levelling line feeding material directly into a set of bending rolls. 

CNC CONTROLS
A CNC control allows the bending of shapes that are impossible or very difficult to bend manually or with an NC control. Material properties are programmed into the machine which is then able to produce bending programs for special shapes such as ovals and variable radius bends.

AUTOMATION
MG are very experienced at automating bending processes. Full production cells take blank material through to the finished part without operator intervention using automation and robotics. This can result in very high throughput leading to significant cost savings, while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
