Promotech SBM500 Product Launch

The bevelling and weld preparation of plate has always been a messy, expensive and time consuming process. It doesn’t need to be any longer!!   The plate and tube prep specialists, Promotech have just launched a new addition to their already extensive range; the SBM-500.  

The Promotech SBM-500 model is an automatic feeding machine with the ability to quickly produce bevels to a high quality finish. The bevel angle is precisely adjustable and is infinitely variable from 15 to 60 degrees. The table guide system can be adjusted to allow the bevelling of material in various sizes, while a swarf collection drawer is incorporated into the base for ease of removal.

A range of spindle speeds makes this model suitable for a variety of materials, including mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium, with the ability to finish the bevel to a very fine tolerance.
