The Morgan Rushworth XPH Hybrid Press Brake features an innovative electro-hydraulic servo drive system which reduces power consumption by around 60% while idling and 45% during bending, when compared to a traditional hydraulic press brake. In addition to these savings, the system allows for very fast approach and return speeds, reaching up to 200 mm/sec.
If you are looking for fast, accurate and responsive bending while at the same time reducing costs and environmental impact then this model is well worth considering.
How does it work?
The hybrid system features independent units, produced by HAWE Hydraulik in Germany, which are fitted to each of the left and right cylinders of the press brake. Each unit is fully sealed with its own hydraulic oil and uses an electro-hydraulic servo drive system to quickly and efficiently power the cylinder.
What are other benefits?
As well as power savings and high working speeds, the hybrid press brake uses much less hydraulic oil than a standard hydraulic press brake which greatly reduces waste when servicing. Along with this the constant running of a hydraulic pump is eliminated making the machine much quieter to use.
The CNC control
The XPH hybrid press brake features the ESA VIS-875W CNC control which, while featuring advanced functionality, remains very easy to use. Operators can quickly and easily produce a program at the machine using the intuitive touch screen interface.
