The Sterling semi-automatic band saws build on the features of the auto downfeed machines with the addition of hydraulic vice operation and automatic bow return at the end of the cut. Still equipped with a blade speed inverter this range can cut varying material specifications with ease. Several capacities are available for a range of applications; in particular the SRA350 SA is able to cut up to 350mm tube, while the SRA440 SA has capacity for up to 610mm beam and features an advanced hydraulic counterbalance system providing consistent controlled cutting.
