The Sterling twin column GA CNC models add to the standard vice feed automatic specification with the addition of a mitring head design. This allows the saw to be utilised for mitre cutting in semi-automatic mode or, in automatic mode, for a series of mitre cuts to be performed at any angle up to 60 degrees right. The currently set mitre angle is displayed digitally on the control panel, with a hydraulic mitre lock ensuring the bow is set securely at the desired position.
